Vegan Banana Mango Nice-Cream
I love this easy delicious vegan Banana Mango Nice-Cream recipe!
It super easy to make and the best part is, its super healthy.
No additives.
No preservatives.
No artificial flavours.
Just banana and mango!
I always have frozen bananas on hand so if you don't you'll need to prep ahead of time.
This recipe needs five frozen bananas.
I buy a few large bunches of bananas each week from our local fruit and veg farm.
I buy extra than well eat deliberately so I can freeze some for smoothies and banana nice-cream.
With the left over bananas at the end of each week I peel the skins off, place then in freezer snap lock bags and freeze them.
You can use fresh or frozen Mango.
For this recipe I had a bunch of fresh Mango in the fridge to use up so I used fresh, but frozen is also good to use.
You'll need a high powered blender or a Thermomix.
I've just invested in a Thermomix and it is amazing!!!
If you sitting on the fence - do it.
I have wanted one for years and glad I finally took the plunge.
Serves - 6-8
Store in the freezer.
INGREDIENTS
5 x Frozen Bananas
1 x cup Fresh or Frozen Mango
3 x Tbls Nut Milk
METHOD
THERMOMIX -
If your using a Thermomix - I used the Banana Nice-Cream recipe.
I did one batch using 3 x bananas.
The second batch I placed the cup of mango and 2 x frozen bananas in and used the same banana nice-cream setting.
In a large storage container I placed the banana nice-cream in first and then added the mango banana nice-cream over the top swirling it through.
BLENDER -
If your using a high powered blender do two batches.
First batch -
Place 3 x frozen banana into you blender
Blend up until smooth and creamy.
Add a dash of nut milk if needed.
You may need to stop a few times to scrape the sides.
Second batch -
Place 2 x frozen banana and mango in the blender until smooth and creamy.
In a storage container place the banana nice-cream mix on the bottom and the banana mango nice-cream mix on top and swirl through.
Store leftovers in the freezer.
Enjoy!
